7-Eleven Store Associate

Job Summary

Duties

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging upselling opportunities
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh products
• Assist in inventory management through stocking, organizing, and rotating stock to keep the store inviting
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for daily cash register balancing
• Promote a positive shopping experience by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail math to handle transactions confidently
• Ability to perform stocking, merchandising, and inventory tasks efficiently in a grocery store environment
• Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and conduct engaging product demos to boost sales
• Basic math skills for cash handling, balancing registers, and performing retail calculations
• Passion for customer service with a proactive mindset ready to contribute to team success
