Job Summary

In this role, you will operate school pupil vans transporting children from school/ home to our center.. Responsibilities

• Safely operate 7D vehicles following all traffic laws and vehicle codes.
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking and ensuring passenger safety at all times.
• Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents, including CPR and first aid protocols when necessary.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers and team members.
• Enforce passenger behavior management policies in accordance with school or organizational policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations; report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

• Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and state/local commercial driving laws relevant to passenger transportation. Ability to obtain 7D License.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; familiarity with emergency stop procedures and emergency response procedures for transportation incidents.
• Must have 3+ years of driving history.
• Demonstrated defensive driving skills and quick response capabilities to traffic changes or unexpected road conditions.
• Understanding of student discipline policies (for school-related routes) and behavior management techniques.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
