Duties

• Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions focused on the Edexcel A-Level Chemistry syllabus to help students grasp complex concepts effectively
• Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Provide clear explanations of chemical theories, calculations, practical techniques, and exam strategies to enhance student performance
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages questions, critical thinking, and active participation
• Track student progress through regular assessments, feedback, and personalized study plans to ensure continuous improvement
• Support students in developing strong exam techniques, time management skills, and confidence in their abilities
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents or guardians regarding progress and areas for development

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching A-Level Chemistry, particularly within the Edexcel curriculum
• Strong knowledge of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and exam requirements for A-Level Chemistry
• Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is highly desirable
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs, including those with special education requirements
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts in an accessible manner
