We’re building a premium automotive service experience at GVT of Crystal, and we’re looking for an experienced lead technician who takes pride in every vehicle they touch.

Our customers trust us with their safety, their time, and their investment. We want someone who respects that responsibility—someone who diagnoses thoroughly, repairs correctly, and pays attention to the details that make customers confident in our work.

THE STANDARD WE EXPECT

You take ownership from the first inspection through the final quality check. Your findings are clear, your recommendations are honest, and your repairs address the cause of the problem.

You treat each customer’s vehicle with care, protect its interior, keep your work clean, and verify that it is ready to return to the customer. You understand that a premium experience depends on what happens in the shop as much as what happens at the front counter.

YOUR ROLE

• Diagnose complex electrical, drivability, engine, braking, steering, and suspension concerns.
• Complete precise, dependable repairs using proper testing, specifications, and procedures.
• Perform thorough inspections with clear photos and notes that help customers understand their vehicle’s needs.
• Work closely with advisors to explain findings, set realistic expectations, and communicate progress.
• Verify repairs through appropriate testing and final quality checks.
• Lead shop workflow alongside the manager and service advisors.
• Mentor technicians with patience, clear direction, and accountability.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle customer vehicles with care.
• Bring a strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a professional attitude every day.

THE PERSON WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You are an accomplished A-level technician with strong diagnostic ability and a consistent record of quality work. You can handle challenging repairs independently and help others develop their skills.

You lead through your actions. You follow through on commitments, own mistakes, and help resolve problems. Above all, you care about the person behind the vehicle and want every customer to feel they made the right choice bringing it to our shop.

Proven diagnostic experience and strong leadership skills are essential. ASE certifications are preferred.
