A&A - External Audit (Senior Associate)

Work you’ll do:

As part of Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice, you will work with a broad range of clients across various industries, helping them enhance the quality and transparency of their financial reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of external audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
• Perform risk assessments, audit testing, and internal control evaluations.
• Review financial information and assess compliance with IFRS and relevant reporting standards.
• Leverage data analytics and audit technologies to enhance audit quality and insights.
• Prepare audit documentation and communicate findings to engagement teams and clients.
• Work closely with clients to understand business operations and address audit matters.
• Maintain high standards of professional skepticism, ethics, and integrity.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the audit process.
• Gain exposure to leading organizations across multiple industries and sectors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in External Audit or Assurance, preferably gained within a professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis.
• Experience in performing risk assessments, audit procedures, and evaluating internal controls.
• Demonstrated professional skepticism, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in both Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates with recognized English proficiency qualifications (e.g., TOEIC, IELTS, TOEFL) or demonstrated professional use of English will be highly regarded.
• CPA or other relevant professional qualification, or progress towards obtaining one, will be an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
