Duties

• Perform detailed diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, and mechanical systems such as suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, and auto body components.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Repair and replace automotive electrical systems, air brake systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic components.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining safety protocols.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise repairs aligned with manufacturer specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles are returned in optimal condition.

Skills

• Proven dealership or automotive repair industry experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions (including heavy equipment mechanics), and automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with ADAS technology, air brake systems, wheel alignment procedures, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic software for efficient troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools required for comprehensive vehicle maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models; experience working with GM vehicles is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused attitude to deliver high-quality service consistently.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
