ABA behavior technician

Overview

We're currently hiring for a part time position working at our ABA center in Fitchburg, MA. We're located in Parkhill Plaza. We have anywhere from 15 to 30+ hours available, we can be flexible for the right candidate! Our center hours are 8am-4pm Mon-Thurs, and 8am-2pm Friday.

Paid training is provided, and a pay increase will happen after the successful completion of training. Prior ABA experience is not needed! However we do require a high school diploma, and some experience working with children, youth, people with disabilities, or transitional young adults.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to each client’s individualized care plan, utilizing ABA techniques to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
• Collect behavioral data accurately during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, dressing, and other essential self-care skills
• Maintain detailed medical records, session notes, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies
• Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency in treatment implementation and progress updates
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behavior change in home-based or clinical settings

Requirements

• The legal right to work in the US.
• Be aged 18+
• 12 months experience working with kids for candidates with no college experience
• 6 months experience working with kids for candidates with an associates degree
• 3 months experience working with kids for candidates with a bachelors degree
• Be able to pass a background check

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
