Mental Health Practitioner

Full-time or part-time. Based out of our Fridley, MN office, with work in family homes and community settings nearby. $21 to $32 per hour.

We're hiring a Mental Health Practitioner to grow with us.

About the role

You'll work alongside a BCBA and the rest of our clinical team to support young children with autism and related developmental needs. Most of your time will be spent in family homes and community settings, meeting kids where they are and helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills in a way that fits their family's life.

What you'll do

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the BCBA
• Provide one-on-one support to kids in their home or community
• Track progress and keep notes so the team can adjust as the child grows
• Stay in close communication with families so everyone is on the same page
• Show up for team meetings and trainings
• Keep documentation accurate and in line with state requirements

What we're looking for

To qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner under Minnesota standards, you'll need one of the following:

• A bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field, plus at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience working with children or adults with mental illness or developmental disabilities
• A master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university
• At least 6,000 hours of supervised experience delivering services to children or adults with mental illness or developmental disabilities
• Current status as a graduate student working toward a master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences, in a formal practicum or internship
