What they need

Are you energetic, dependable, compassionate, and interested in making a meaningful difference in the life of a child? Autism Health Services (AHS) is growing, and we are hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) for our client in Leominster. Whether you already have ABA experience or are interested in beginning a career in Applied Behavior Analysis, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and young people with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 ABA therapy in accordance with each client's treatment plan
  • Teaching communication, social, play, daily living, and independence skills
  • Implementing behavior-support strategies developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collecting accurate data during sessions
  • Completing timely and accurate session documentation
  • Participating in social skills and other clinical programming
  • Collaborating with BCBAs, fellow Behavior Technicians, families, and the AHS clinical team
  • Maintaining a safe, positive, professional, and engaging environment for our clients

No RBT Certification Yet? We Can Help You Grow. You do not have to be an RBT to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are interested in learning ABA and working toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician. What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 18 years old
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Comfortable working actively with children
  • Able to follow clinical instructions and accept coaching and feedback
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time
  • Experience working with children, individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, education, childcare, behavioral health, or ABA is preferred but not required
  • Current RBT certification is highly valued
  • Must successfully complete required background checks

Start as a BT. We’ll Help You Become an RBT. No RBT certification? That’s okay. If you are new to ABA but have the passion and potential to succeed, Autism Health Services will support you on the pathway toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Eligible Behavior Technicians receive:

  • Paid ABA orientation and training
  • Support completing the required 40-hour RBT training
  • Hands-on training and competency development with our clinical team
  • BCBA supervision and support
  • Assistance preparing for the RBT competency assessment
  • Guidance through the RBT application and certification process
  • Pay increase upon obtaining RBT certification
  • Continued opportunities for professional growth within AHS

BT Trainee → BT → RBT → Clinical Support/Lead opportunities  Start at $21–$24/hour as a BT, based on experience, and grow your career and earning potential as you become RBT certified. You don't need years of ABA experience to build a career with us. Schedule Part-time opportunities may be available. Monday–Friday availability is strongly preferred. Candidates with afternoon availability are encouraged to apply.
