About Spectrum Wellnest ABA Therapy

At Spectrum Wellnest ABA Therapy, we take a holistic, person-centered approach to care. Our goal is to support children and families in building meaningful skills that improve everyday life.

We focus on helping individuals grow, connect, and thrive through evidence-based ABA practices, compassionate support, and strong collaboration between families, Behavior Technicians, supervisors, and BCBAs.

Position Overview

We are hiring a bilingual Spanish-speaking ABA Case Supervisor / Behavior Technician to join our growing team in Orange and LA County. Applicants must be Associate Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) or qualified Behavior Management Assistant (BMA)

A BMA must have a bachelor’s degree and then meet at least one of these pathways:

  • One year of ABA experience designing or implementing behavior-modification intervention services, plus 12 semester units in ABA; or
  • Two years of experience designing and/or implementing behavior-modification intervention services; or
  • Be registered in California as a Psychological Assistant or at the associate level with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

This is a hybrid clinical role that combines direct ABA services as a Behavior Technician with case supervision responsibilities under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

The ideal candidate has previous ABA experience and is ready to take on greater clinical responsibility while continuing to work directly with clients.

You will help oversee assigned cases, support and coach Behavior Technicians, communicate with families and the supervising BCBA, assist with treatment implementation, and provide direct one-on-one ABA services as needed.

This position may begin part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment as credentialing is completed and the supervisory caseload grows.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adolescents
  • Support and oversee assigned ABA cases under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Behavior Technicians
  • Observe Behavior Technician sessions and help ensure treatment plans are implemented accurately
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies developed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collect and review data related to client progress and behavior
  • Monitor treatment implementation and communicate clinical concerns or recommendations to the supervising BCBA
  • Support skill development in communication, social interaction, behavior regulation, and daily living
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, and other members of the treatment team
  • Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
  • Assist with maintaining consistency of care across staff and environments
  • Provide services in client homes, schools, community settings, and other approved locations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, education, child development, social work, or a related behavioral-health field required

  • Previous ABA experience required
  • Previous Behavior Technician or RBT experience strongly preferred
  • RBT certification preferred
  • Graduate coursework or enrollment in an ABA-related master’s program highly valued
  • Experience supporting, training, or supervising Behavior Technicians preferred

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to Behavior Technicians
  • Ability to work collaboratively under BCBA supervision
