Launch your career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The New England Center for Children offers ABA Therapists the opportunity to participate in a Master's degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with reduced tuition for employees who hold a bachelor's degree. Ongoing BCBA fieldwork supervision is also available for individuals pursuing BCBA certification.

The New England Center for Children is seeking a full-time ABA Therapist for its Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program for young children with autism. This position is designed to support a full-time schedule; however, work hours are dependent on client schedules and service needs.

The ABA Therapist will provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to young children with autism in their homes and/or communities. Under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the ABA Therapist will directly implement treatment protocols outlined in individualized treatment plans. Services are typically provided with parents or caregivers present. The ABA Therapist must be compassionate, collaborative, and respectful of families' privacy, values, and cultural or religious practices. Building supportive, professional relationships with children and families is an essential component of the role.

As a member of our EIBI Team you’ll:

  • Provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to young children with autism in their homes and/or community settings.
  • Implement skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction procedures as outlined in individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect and record data on target skills and behaviors to support ongoing assessment and treatment planning.
  • Complete daily session notes and other required documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in paid supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy, cultural values, and religious practices of children and families.
  • Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with children and families while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Follow all safety, ethical, and professional standards established by NECC and the supervising BCBA.

What You’ll Love:

  • Reduced-tuition Master's Degree program in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for eligible employees.
  • Ongoing BCBA fieldwork supervision for employees pursuing BCBA certification.
  • Paid training, supervision, and professional development.
  • Opportunities for career growth within NECC.

What You’ll Need:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred. NECC provides BCBA supervision required to obtain and maintain RBT certification.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with young children with autism and their families.
  • High school diploma required; college degree completed or in progress preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills through training, observation, and feedback from a BCBA.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Schedule:

  • Hourly, year round position.
  • Expected schedule of 35 hours per week, excluding a daily one-hour unpaid lunch break.
  • Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Services are typically scheduled between 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • This position is designed to support a full-time schedule. However, work hours are dependent on client schedules and service needs.
  • The EIBI program calendar includes approximately 30 scheduled closure days per year.
  • When client sessions are canceled, ABA Therapists may have opportunities to work in other NECC programs, subject to staffing needs.
