ABA therapist (weekend Sat and/or Sun only)

Overview

Join our dedicated team as an ABA Therapist working exclusively on weekends, with shifts available on Saturday and/or Sunday. In this rewarding role, you will provide specialized behavioral therapy to children and individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA therapy plans in home-based or clinical settings, following established protocols and care plans
• Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and functional skills
• Engage in direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
• Communicate regularly with clients’ families and caregivers to provide updates, guidance, and support for ongoing therapy goals
• Maintain detailed medical documentation, behavioral records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
• Support the development of skill acquisition programs tailored to each client’s needs, including social, communication, and adaptive skills

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols
• Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and collecting behavioral data accurately
• Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Experience working in home-based settings or within educational environments such as schools or special education programs
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and family collaboration
• Certification as an ABA therapist or willingness to obtain required credentials; relevant training in behavioral health preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
