ABA Tutor – Home-Based (Chessington)

Love working with children and want hands-on ABA experience? Advance Therapy is hiring ABA Tutors for 1:1 home-based sessions with children with autism in Bristol and the surrounding area. You earn £15.00–£24.00 per hour, receive on-the-job training, and work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). Graduates and career changers are welcome.

What you'll do

• Deliver 1:1 ABA sessions in family homes, following each child's individual programme
• Use discrete trial teaching, natural environment teaching and other ABA strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA
• Record accurate session data on skill acquisition and behaviour targets
• Write short, objective session notes
• Share progress with the BCBA and, where appropriate, with parents and carers
• Attend supervision, training and team meetings

What we're looking for

• A degree or Level 3 qualification in a related field: Psychology, Education, Childcare, Health and Social Care or similar
• Experience as an ABA tutor, teaching assistant or SEN support worker is an advantage; graduates and those working toward RBT certification are welcome to apply
• Full UK driving licence and access to an insured vehicle, required for travel to family homes
• Enhanced DBS check for work with children, or willingness to obtain one before starting
• Right to work in the UK
• Patience, reliability and clear written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
