ABAP Developer

Senior SAP ABAP Developer (S/4HANA)

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.

This role is ideal for an experienced ABAP professional with strong hands-on development skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and experience leading or mentoring development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise development activities to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.

• Translate functional specifications into technical designs and solutions.

• Design and develop complex ABAP / ABAP OO programs, including:

  • Reports and Module Pool
  • Enhancements, BAdIs, User-Exits, and Enhancement Framework
  • Interfaces using IDoc, RFC, and APIs
  • Adobe Forms and Smart Forms

• Perform code reviews and ensure development quality and best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and conduct root cause analysis.

• Work closely with Functional Consultants and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Support system integration, testing, and deployment activities.

• Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.

• At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Developer or Team Lead role.

• Strong hands-on experience in:

  • ABAP / ABAP OO
  • BAdIs, User-Exits, and Enhancement Framework
  • IDoc, RFC, and API integration
  • Adobe Forms / Smart Forms

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have

Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

• SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
• SAP BTP application or extension development
• SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
• SAP Integration Suite
• SAP Fiori / UI5
• OData / CDS Views
• Understanding of SAP system architecture and integration concepts
• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects
• SAP S/4HANA Certification

BTP experience is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong ABAP and S/4HANA development experience is the primary focus of this position.
