Job Description
ThinkGrove LLC is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher (LBS1) to support a self-contained autism program serving students in grades 3–5. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction, support students’ academic and behavioral needs, and create a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs and individualized learning plans.
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with autism.
• Support communication, social-emotional development, and behavioral needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff.

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) license.
• Experience working with students with autism in a self-contained classroom preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
