AC & UPS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

AC / HVAC Maintenance:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of air conditioning systems, including split AC, window AC, cassette AC, ductable AC, and package units.
• Troubleshoot cooling issues, refrigerant leakage, compressor failures, electrical faults, and drainage problems.
• Inspect and maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, blower motors, filters, and thermostats.
• Monitor AC performance, temperature control, refrigerant pressure, and energy efficiency.
• Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, and basic servicing as per safety procedures.
• Maintain HVAC maintenance records and service schedules.

UPS Maintenance

• Install, operate, and maintain UPS systems and associated battery banks.
• Troubleshoot UPS faults, alarms, battery backup issues, and power supply failures.
• Perform battery inspections, voltage checks, and backup performance testing.
• Maintain UPS systems, including online UPS, offline UPS, and related power backup equipment.
• Inspect electrical connections, bypass systems, battery terminals, and protection devices.
• Coordinate with vendors for major repairs, battery replacements, and warranty-related service.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical equipment.

General Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and HVAC equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, service reports, and breakdown records.
• Coordinate with facility management, electrical maintenance, and operations teams.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of refrigerants and used batteries in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• ITI in Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related trade with relevant experience may also be considered.

Experience & Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in AC, HVAC, UPS, or facility maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in AC servicing, troubleshooting, and refrigerant handling.
• Practical knowledge of UPS systems, battery banks, and power backup equipment.
• Understanding of electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and control systems.
• Ability to use multimeters, clamp meters, pressure gauges, and other testing instruments.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and equipment safety.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
