A/C Technician cum Driver

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced A/C Technician who also holds a valid UAE driving license. In this dual role, you will install, maintain, and repair residential air conditioning systems, and drive the company vehicle to transport yourself, team members, tools, and materials to client sites. You will report to the Team Leader and work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

A/C Installation, Maintenance and Repair

• Diagnose and repair split units, ducted systems, compressors, thermostats, and ductwork.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, including coil cleaning, filter replacement, refrigerant checks, and drain line cleaning.
• Install and commission new A/C systems.
• Test system performance and confirm units run efficiently and safely.

Driving and Vehicle Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle safely between the office, accommodation, and client sites.
• Plan routes to arrive on time for scheduled jobs.
• Transport team members, tools, equipment, and materials securely.
• Keep the vehicle clean, carry out basic daily checks (fuel, tyres, oil), and report any faults or damage immediately.
• Follow UAE traffic laws at all times and keep vehicle documents and logs up to date.

General Maintenance Support (as required)

• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and handyman tasks.
• Inspect properties to identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.

Safety

• Follow company safety procedures and UAE regulations.
• Wear the required PPE and keep work areas clean and safe.
• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment faults promptly to the Team Leader.

Customer Service

• Explain problems, solutions, and maintenance tips to clients clearly and politely.
• Leave every job site clean and every client satisfied.
• Share feedback that helps improve our service.

Requirements

• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license (mandatory) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in A/C maintenance and repair, preferably in the UAE.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads.
• Good spoken English; basic written English.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Currently residing in the UAE.

Working Conditions

• Indoor and outdoor work, including in hot weather.
• Physical work involving lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces such as ceilings and attics.
• Availability for occasional emergency call-outs outside normal working hours.
