Academic AI Analyst

Role overview

Build and improve AI agents that reduce manual work in academic operations. Work mainly with EdTech to understand user needs, review the student platform for gaps and missing automation, and develop practical solutions with the Tech Team where platform changes are needed.

This is primarily a technical role. Approximately 75% of the work will involve development, integrations and automation, with the remaining 25% focused on understanding academic processes, gathering requirements and supporting implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and maintain AI agents for student support and academic operations.
• Identify repetitive manual tasks with EdTech and automate suitable questions, follow-ups, information checks and administrative workflows.
• Review the full student journey and platform to find process gaps, usability issues, missing automation and opportunities for new features.
• Gather user requirements and translate them into agent behaviours, clear workflow specifications and test cases.
• Connect agents to approved academic and platform information; work with developers on data access, interfaces and integrations.
• Test agent answers and actions, report issues, use feedback and usage data to improve performance, and keep knowledge current.
• Define when an agent should refer a case to staff for academic judgment, formal approval or complex support.

Profile requirements

• At least 8 years in software development, automation or technical implementation, including at least 2 years building and deploying AI agents or LMS based workflows.
• Demonstrable experience with AI agent workflows, knowledge sources, testing and practical task automation.
• Working knowledge of APIs, data flows or any programming languages.
• Ability to identify platform gaps, turn manual processes into working solutions and collaborate with EdTech users and developers.
• Strong problem solving, documentation and English communication skills; EdTech or academic operations experience is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
