Academic Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for motivated and result-oriented Academic Counsellors to guide students and working professionals in choosing suitable courses based on their career goals. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, explaining course details, following up on enquiries, and converting leads into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Understand students’ educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals.
• Explain course details, benefits, fees, duration, and career opportunities.
• Counsel students on premium skill-development courses, accounting courses, and data analytics programmes.
• Handle student enquiries and provide accurate information about available courses.
• Follow up with interested candidates and convert enquiries into admissions.
• Maintain lead details, follow-up records, and admission updates in the CRM or ERP system.
• Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Build positive relationships with students and provide support throughout the admission process.
• Coordinate with the academic and sales teams to ensure a smooth admission process.

Courses to Be Promoted

• Premium Skill Development Courses: Professional and career-oriented training programmes.
• Accounting Courses: Tally, GST, taxation, financial accounting, and related programmes, depending on the courses offered.
• Data Analytics Courses: Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, and other relevant data analytics programmes, depending on the available curriculum.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, counselling, and sales skills.
• Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
• Good follow-up, negotiation, and lead-conversion skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work with CRM or ERP systems.
• Target-oriented approach with a willingness to achieve admission targets.
• Good time management and organisational skills.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
