Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and student-focused Academic Counsellor – Study Abroad to guide students through the overseas education process. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in study-abroad counselling and a good understanding of international education destinations, courses, universities, and admission processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding suitable countries, universities, courses, and career pathways based on their academic profile and career goals.
• Understand students' academic background, preferences, budget, and career objectives and recommend suitable study-abroad options.
• Handle student enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Explain admission requirements, application procedures, tuition fees, scholarships, and other relevant information.
• Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the counselling and application process.
• Coordinate with the application/processing team to ensure smooth submission and progress of student applications.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and application status.
• Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets.
• Stay updated on university requirements, intakes, courses, and changes in admission procedures.

Requirements

• 1+ year of relevant experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education Counselling is preferred.
• Good knowledge of international education destinations and university admission processes.
• Strong counselling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
• Target-oriented and confident in handling student enquiries and follow-ups.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Candidates from Study Abroad / Overseas Education Consultancies are preferred.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in counselling for destinations such as UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Europe, USA, or New Zealand will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
