Job Summary

Career Q is looking for a motivated and student-friendly Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right courses and achieving their academic and career goals. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to convert enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding available courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
• Handle student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and other communication channels.
• Follow up with prospective students and convert leads into admissions.
• Explain course details, fees, eligibility criteria, and program benefits.
• Maintain student enquiry records and update lead follow-up status.
• Achieve monthly admission and counselling targets.
• Coordinate with the academic and marketing teams for admission-related activities.
• Maintain good relationships with students and parents throughout the admission process.

Requirements

• Any degree or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Freshers with good communication skills are welcome to apply.
• Experience in academic counselling, educational sales, or student admissions will be an advantage.
• Good Malayalam and English communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office, CRM, or lead management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a target-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn.
