Academic Dean

We are looking for Academic Dean for INTI International College Penang

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall academic quality, provide academic leadership and governance of academic programmes.
• Responsible for matters related to lecturer affairs, including lecturer management system and lecturer professional development.
• Responsible for matters related to student affairs, including student management system and student professional development.
• Responsible for curriculum management and development and assist in business development and strategic planning.
• Responsible for academic operational quality and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business units and campuses from various departments to respond to the demands of strategic goals.
• Work in collaboration with the industry to maintain and develop partnerships in relation to the requirements for the School and MQA

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Master’s Degree or equivalent professional qualification in one of the following disciplines: Business & Management, Engineering, Psychology, Computing, or Accounting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an academic and 2 years of managerial capacity.

• Experienced in using technology for teaching and learning purposes.

• Possesses knowledge of regulatory requirements and program standards, Malaysian Quality Framework as well as of institutional assessments (MySetara College) and student outcomes assessment principles, methods and techniques.

• Has the expertise in curriculum mapping, assessment, data analysis and educational outcomes.

• Knowledgeable in the government policies and regulations related to higher education institutions, i.e. familiarity with MQA MQF 2.0 and OBE.

• Experienced in contributing to the management and development of the organization, i.e. curriculum development issue, student support and performance issue, transfer & progression issue etc.

• Proven track record of quality management.

• Positive attitude, good time management, ability to work independently and able to manage complex projects and multi-task efficiently.

• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and analytical skills that enable collaboration and team building.

• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse members of the learning community including students, faculty, staff, administrators, and accreditors.

• Dynamic and tactful person, able to provide insight to the company in development of strategy.
