Academic Tutor

About the role

As an Academic Tutor (Full-Time), you will be part of the academic team responsible for providing quality learning experiences to students according to their respective fields of expertise, such as IELTS, TOEFL, School Support, and UTBK. Beyond teaching, you will also contribute to the development of learning materials, academic evaluation, and improvement of educational service quality at Eluma Edu.

Key responsibilities

• Teach students according to Eluma Edu academic standards and learning methods
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet each student's needs, abilities, and learning targets
• Prepare lesson plans, materials, and effective learning media
• Monitor student learning progress regularly
• Compile lesson reports and learning outcome evaluations
• Provide follow-up recommendations to students and parents when necessary
• Contribute to curriculum, syllabus, module, and learning material development
• Provide input on improving the company's academic quality
• Participate in academic discussions, training, and tutor development programs
• Conduct academic administration according to company standards and coordinate with Academic Supervisor regarding student progress and other academic needs

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) from various disciplines
• Strong academic ability in one of the following fields: IELTS, TOEFL, School Support (SD, SMP, SMA), or UTBK
• Teaching, mentoring, tutoring, or educational activity experience is a plus
• Able to explain material clearly, systematically, and in an easily understood manner
• Good communication skills in interacting with students and parents
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and digital learning platforms is a plus
• Willing to undergo training and apply the company's learning methods
• Caring about each student's development
• Quality-oriented learning focus
• Sense of responsibility and ownership toward student learning processes
