Academicians (Electronics Engineering)

Job Responsibilities:

·         Deliver and support teaching in engineering courses, with a strong emphasis on practical application and industry relevance.

·         Integrate engineering design, safety, ethics, and professional practice into curriculum delivery.

·         Supervise Final Year Projects (FYP), capstone projects, and industrial training.

·         Contribute to curriculum development and review to ensure alignment with industry needs and EAC requirements.

·         Support the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), including assessment, moderation, and continuous improvement.

·         Lead or support engineering programme accreditation, audits, and compliance activities in line with BEM and EAC standards.

·         Engage with industry through consultancy, collaboration, and professional networking.

·         Contribute to research, innovation, and applied engineering projects.

·         Mentor students and support their professional development and career readiness.

·         Conduct applied research, contribute to grant applications, and participate in consultancy projects.

Requirements:

·         Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

·         Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in higher education.

·         Ability to teach undergraduate courses in areas such as Circuit Theory, Electronic Devices & Circuits, Electronic Circuit Analysis and IC Applications.

·         Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

·         Experience serving as a Programme Coordinator, Final Year Project (FYP) Coordinator, or Internship Coordinator will be an added advantage.

·         Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) will be an added advantage.
