ACBS Application Specialist

A commercial banking organization is seeking an experienced FIS ACBS Application Specialist to support a core commercial lending technology environment.

The successful candidate will possess deep ACBS product knowledge and work with banking stakeholders, internal technology teams, and FIS on application changes, enhancements, and ongoing platform needs.

This is a specialized application-focused position for a professional who understands commercial lending workflows and can translate business needs into clear software change requirements. The opportunity is structured as a six-month contract-to-hire engagement with potential permanent conversion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the FIS ACBS commercial lending application.
• Understand ACBS functionality, lending workflows, and application behavior.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify application-related business needs.
• Identify and communicate product enhancements and development requests.
• Coordinate with FIS and internal teams regarding application changes.
• Assist with investigating and resolving ACBS-related application issues.
• Collaborate with associated banking application and technology teams.
• Take ownership of assigned work and help move issues and enhancements through completion.

Role Requirements

• Substantial direct experience with FIS ACBS.
• Detailed knowledge of ACBS functionality and commercial lending use cases.
• Experience with application enhancements, requirements, or product changes.
• Ability to communicate requirements to software vendors and internal technology teams.
• Strong analytical and application problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration.
• Demonstrated ownership of application-related responsibilities.
• Availability to work onsite three days per week in New York City.
• Interest in a six-month contract-to-hire arrangement.

Nice to Have

• Experience with IBS.
• Knowledge of BIC and related banking application environments.
• Experience coordinating banking software enhancements with FIS.
• Production application support experience.
• Background working in collaborative, lean banking technology teams.
