Access Control and CCTV Installation Engineer

Click Technical Ltd is an established security and electrical systems contractor based in Aylesbury. We specialise in access control, CCTV, door-entry systems and associated data networks, primarily working within private and housing-association properties in and around Bucks, Herts and Oxfordshire.

We are looking for an experienced Access Control and CCTV Installation Engineer to join our small, professional team.

You will install, commission, maintain and fault-find access control and CCTV systems across a variety of residential and commercial sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning access control systems
• Installing IP CCTV systems
• Installing door-entry and intercom equipment
• Configuring IP cameras, recorders and network equipment
• Configuring Routers, switches, VLANS, PC's and secure networks
• Cable installation, containment and termination
• Diagnosing and repairing system faults
• Completing testing and commissioning records and site documentation
• Carrying out work in occupied blocks of flats and communal areas
• Communicating professionally with clients, residents and other contractors
• Working independently and as part of a small engineering team
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety
• Efficiently managing your time and schedule.
• Occasional weekend work

Desirable experience

Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:

• Comelit, Paxton, Intratone and Salto Door-entry and video-intercom systems
• Dahua, Ubiquiti and Hikvision CCTV systems.
• Working on large Housing-association or social-housing projects.
• Electrical installation.
• Fibre-optic and structured data cabling.
• Manufacturer-specific training on CCTV and ACS systems.
• IPAF or PASMA certification.
• Configuring IP data networks.

Pay: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
