Job Description: Accessories Merchandiser – Textile Showroom

Position: Accessories Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

• Manage merchandising for fashion accessories in the textile showroom.
• Identify and develop new accessories based on current fashion trends and customer preferences.
• Coordinate with designers, suppliers, and vendors for new products.
• Source accessories such as bags, jewellery, belts, hair accessories, footwear, scarves, and other fashion items.
• Follow up on samples, orders, production, delivery, and quality.
• Check product quality, design, finishing, and pricing.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Maintain product details, SKU, pricing, and inventory records.
• Coordinate with the showroom team for proper product display and availability.
• Study market trends and competitor products to introduce new collections.
• Coordinate with vendors on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Support visual merchandising and attractive presentation of accessories.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in accessories merchandising, fashion merchandising, textile retail, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of fashion accessories and current trends.
• Strong vendor and supplier coordination skills.
• Good understanding of product sourcing, costing, and inventory.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and attention to detail.
• Experience in a textile showroom will be an added advantage.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
