Account Analyst - Disbursement

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Disbursement Analyst to support the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and disbursements. This role is responsible for reviewing payment requests, monitoring disbursement activities, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across accounting and operational systems.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate payment requests to ensure compliance with company policies and approval requirements.
• Monitor payment requisitions and vendor payments to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain and update disbursement schedules and monitoring reports.
• Investigate payment issues, discrepancies, and exceptions, and facilitate resolution.
• Coordinate with business units and stakeholders regarding payment status and supporting documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial and transactional records.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to disbursement activities and payment transactions.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, treasury, or disbursement operations.
• Experience in payment processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
