Account Asistance

Key responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expense claims in the accounting system
• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and ensuring accuracy of all entries
• Supporting the reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts
• Preparing and organising supporting documentation for financial reports and audits
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Performing data entry tasks and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assisting with payroll processing and employee expense management
• Liaising with internal departments and external parties to obtain necessary financial information
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognised institution
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay
• A solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a structured environment
• Professional integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role would be advantageous
• Familiarity with the mining industry would be a beneficial additional asset
