Account Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager in daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks and finance operations.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and related documents.
• Perform data entry, filing, and maintain proper financial records.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly closing activities.
• Support preparation of financial reports and audit documents.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on finance-related matters.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL accounting software is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
