Account Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in handling the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and General Ledger (GL) records.
• Prepare and issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, official receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing by preparing accounting schedules, financial reports, and supporting documents, and by maintaining proper accounting records and filing.
• Assist in payroll processing and the preparation of statutory contributions, including EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
• Assist with SST and e-Invoice documentation and ensure compliance with the latest LHDN requirements.
• Update and maintain accounting records using UBS accounting software.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements, with proficiency in UBS accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
