Account Assistant

Working Hours: 9:30 am-6:30 pm
Working Location: Setia Walk, Puchong

About the role

This role involves performing data entry using SQL Accounting & SQL Payroll Software, bank reconciliation, and accounting and general administrative duties such as receipts, payments, and invoicing updates to the accounting system.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry using SQL Accounting & SQL Payroll Software
• Perform bank reconciliation
• Perform accounting and general administrative duties such as receipts, payments, and invoicing is correctly updated in the accounting system
• Provide accounting assistance to external auditors on the annual audit
• Ensure the utility bills - electricity, water, parking, petrol card, telephone and internet are paid on time
• Maintain employee records and ensure all staff information is up to date
• Ensure proper filing of accounting documents
• Assist with annual audit exercises for the company

About you

• Possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related department
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude, be resourceful, and be a dynamic team player
• Familiar with SQL accounting software
