Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and hardworking Accounts Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, invoicing, payment processing, data entry, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation and general administrative duties.

This position is suitable for candidates who are looking to build their accounting experience and develop their career in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes and customer statements.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Record supplier invoices and arrange payment documentation.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and assist with collection follow-up.
• Perform bank reconciliation and checking of accounting transactions.
• Assist with monthly accounting closing.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Assist with payroll and statutory-related accounting matters when required.
• Handle petty cash and company expenses.
• Assist with general office and administrative duties.
• Perform other duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant accounting qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with AutoCount / SQL Accounting is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, organised and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
