Account Assistant

Working Location: Banting, Selangor

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day-to-day accounting operations including invoice processing, claims, and data entry

• Support the preparation of financial reports, payment vouchers, and monthly reconciliations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions

• Help monitor budget allocations for departments and faculties

• Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal units on payment and financial documentation

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements

• Undertake other tasks as directed by Head of Department from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards, bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., UBS, SQL, or AutoCount) is an advantage
• Good communication skills in both English and Malay
• Able to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and within a team under minimal supervision
