Account Assistant

Financial Data Entry & Recordkeeping

• Assist with entering invoices, receipts, and expenses into accounting software
• Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Support

• Help in processing vendor invoices and following up on outstanding payments.
• Assist in issuing customer invoices and performing account reconciliations.

Bank Reconciliation

• Support in reconciling bank statements with company records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies under supervision.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Help compile data for internal and external audits.

Inventory & Asset Management

• Participate in physical stock counts and asset verifications.
• Support in updating inventory and asset records.

Tax and Compliance Support

• Assist in gathering data for tax filings (e.g., VAT/SST/GST returns).
• Help ensure documents are prepared in line with compliance standards.

Administrative & Clerical Tasks

• Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and document management.
• Provide support for any ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned.
