Account Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in accounting and finance. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording daily financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Help with data entry and document verification.
• Support audits and other finance-related activities.
• Perform administrative tasks related to the accounts department.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar is an advantage.
• Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
