ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

Key responsibilities

• Enter purchase data into Autocount Accounting System and perform final accuracy checks on a timely basis
• Check Account Receivable and issue Debtors Statements on a timely basis
• Manage inventories including receiving, issuing and transferring stock movements, preparing stock reports and checking stock accuracy
• Issue purchase orders for packing materials, stationery and other selected items
• Prepare creditor payment cheques on a timely basis
• Check and answer all emails related to accounting matters
• File all accounting records and documents related to the role
• Assist in preparation of information required by management on an ad-hoc basis

About you

• Certificate in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• 1-2 years of working experience in a related field
• Must possess own transport
• Able to work independently
