Account Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for assist daily accounting activities including account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and general ledgers.
• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g, disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable)
• To ensure accounting records and systems are complied with the company’s policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Conducting credit checks on new customers, resolving problems in relation to invoice payments, and reconciling complex month-end accounts.
• Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
• Assist on audit and tax related matters
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Can start work immediately will be added advantages.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Telok Gong, Port Klang.
