Account Assistant

About the role

An Account & Admin Assistant role supporting daily accounting and administrative operations in a logistics environment. The position involves working with accounting and logistics software, maintaining financial records, and coordinating with departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of information and supporting documents.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting and administrative operations to keep office processes running smoothly
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and other basic accounting documents
• Work with accounting and logistics software to keep operational and financial records accurate and up to date
• Maintain organised filing, documentation and digital records for easy reference and follow-up
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payment follow-ups
• Support month-end closing and preparation of accounting reports
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure information and supporting documents are complete and accurate
• Assist with general office administration and other duties as required

About you

• Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently
• Comfortable working with software systems and digital records
