ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

WORKING LOCATION:

Taman Sri Manja, Old Klang Road

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare loan payment vouchers, loan breakdowns and process loan disbursement payments.
• Key in payment transactions into accounting systems and RFP e-log.
• Verify Request for Payment (RFP) and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Process approved payments and coordinate payment documents with the relevant PIC.
• Prepare RFPs for accounts-related expenses and payments.
• Handle cash reconciliation and petty cash management.
• Perform weekly and monthly bank, online transaction and petty cash reconciliations.
• Prepare, scan and maintain proper filing of payment vouchers and supporting documents.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Post payment entries for various companies and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management or HOD.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accounting.
• Preferably with minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Responsible, honest, self-motivated and committed.
• Knowledge of AutoCount, MYOB would be an added advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Independent, multitasking, able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work well as a team player.
