Account Assistant

About the role

This role involves verifying and reconciling daily sales from own-operated stores, including POS, cash, card and e-wallet collections, and monitoring stores cash banking while investigating sales or collection discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile daily sales from own-operated stores, including POS, cash, card and e-wallet collections
• Monitor stores cash banking and investigate sales or collection discrepancies
• Reconcile food delivery platform sales, promotions, deductions and settlements against POS records
• Prepare daily and monthly sales collection reports
• Support invoice, credit note and e-invoice processing
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate accounting records
• Process staff claims and petty cash payments
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules for month-end closing
• Assist with other accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirments

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience in retail, F&B or multi-outlet environments is an advantage
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Basic Knowledge of e-invoicing
