ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

About the role

This is an accounting operations role responsible for managing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance team with reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations including data entry, filing, and maintaining proper documentation
• Manage petty cash, including recording, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate supporting documents
• Handle worker claim and advance
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations (bank reconciliation, supplier statement, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the SQL system
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
• Provide administrative support to the Finance / Account Manager as needed

About you

• At least 2 years' experience in accounting or finance-related role
• Can start immediately
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience using SQL
• Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hour:

• Mon - Friday: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
• Sat: 8.30 am - 1.00 pm
