ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

About the role

Smart Business Advisory Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our dynamic team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our growing business, working in a full-time capacity.

What you'll be doing

• Help manage full sets of accounts and contribute to the preparation of financial reports
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures
• Perform ad hoc assignments and other tasks as directed by superiors
• Work with the team to handle accounts payable and receivable, assist in monthly account

reconciliations and monitor general ledger transaction

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role

• Fresh graduate or minimum 1-year relevant working experience

• Seniors, Semi-Seniors in Audit and Taxation line are welcomed

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
