Account Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, issue customer bills, and track payments.
• Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify credit card or cash statements.
• General Bookkeeping: Enter financial transactions, maintain general ledgers, and manage petty cash or expense reports.
• Reporting Support: Assist senior staff in compiling data for budgets, audits, and financial statements.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle filing, respond to vendor or client inquiries, and order office supplies.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping or administrative accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting platforms like QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and clear verbal communication.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
