Account Assistant (Contract 3months)

Responsibilities :

• Assist in handling full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation

• Prepare and update payment vouchers, cheques and online bank transfers

• Record accounting transactions accurately into the accounting system

• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up when necessary

• Assist in month-end closing, schedules and basic financial reports

• Support preparation of documents for audit, tax submission and statutory compliance

• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (physical & digital)

• Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years working experience in accounting or finance role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Experience with accounting software (SQL) is an advantage
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Additional language skills will be an added advantage
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced travel industry environment
