Account Assistant (Shared Services Finance Team)

We are a Group Shared Services Finance team providing accounting and finance support to multiple companies across Singapore and Malaysia. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for dedicated accounting professionals who are eager to develop their careers and gain exposure to the complete finance function.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible to perform the AP & AP task for the assigned companies within the Group.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing.
• Support intercompany reconciliation, supporting schedules, balance sheet reconciliations .
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in finance system enhancement, process improvement and automation projects.
• Guide and support junior finance team members where required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor & Finance Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Candidates with bookkeeping, AP or AR experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good learning attitude and willingness to develop full set accounting knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GL, AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Experience in a shared services or multi-company environment is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is an added advantage.
