Account Assistant/Executive

About the role

This role involves managing daily accounting functions and financial operations to ensure timely and accurate month-end closings, alongside administrative support to the Director.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting functions, managing partial or full sets of accounts to ensure timely and accurate month-end closings
• Oversee financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other related transactions
• Perform intercompany billing, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and timely settlements
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accruals and prepayments
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare quarterly GST reports
• Assist with audits and tax filings, compiling necessary schedules and reports
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist the Director with finance-related tasks

About you

• Degree in Business and Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and committed to maintaining financial integrity
