Account Clerk

About the role

Support to the Accounting Department with documentation, filing, accounts transactions, verification, and database entry. Monitor month-end and day-to-day finance functions and prepare weekly and monthly collection reports.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to the Accounting Department
• Maintain documentation and comprehensive filing to support all accounting entries
• Assist in accounts transactions, checking, verification, key-in database and follow up
• Monitor month-end and day-to-day finance functions and prepare weekly and monthly collection reports
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into computerized accounting system
• Ensure all reports are accurate and timely for periodic submission
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks as per instructions
• Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department

About you

• Written and spoken proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word and etc)
• Minimum education requirement: STPM/LCCI
• Committed to work and able to handle multitask job
• Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility
• Self-discipline and dedicated to work
• Good communication skills
• Experience in Accounting or Finance management is an advantage; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
