Account Clerk - Payable

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Processing: Receive, log, and verify invoices for accuracy, appropriate authorization, and correct coding.

Payment Management: Schedule and process payments (checks, electronic transfers) to vendors, ensuring timely disbursement and avoiding late fees.

Account Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable ledgers, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate historical records, voucher copies, and supporting financial documentation.
Vendor Communication: Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve payment issues and inquiries.
Reporting & Compliance: Assist with financial reports, monitor accounts payable aging, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulations.
Purchasing: Issue Purchase Orders according to Purchasing departments' requirement and make payment accordingly.
