Account Cum Admin Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Cum Admin Assistant to join our team at Great Wall Construction Company in Miri, Sarawak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing

• Handling all accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment processing, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and suppliers
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist in month-end closing
• Performing general administrative duties, such as managing correspondence, filing, and data entry
• Providing administrative support to the wider team as required

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Proficient in using accounting software SQL and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset
